The cylinder, sent to be reconditioned, is cleaned and then checked before treatment to verify the feasibility of the work; after the coating removal a further check is required to restore roundness and straightness of cylinder line.

The next step is the Monasil plating treatment.  Honing and ports chamfering make the cylinders ready to be assembled.
